Beautiful Disaster & Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire

Beautiful Disaster: INTENSE. DANGEROUS. ADDICTIVE. Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand. Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby wants—and needs—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match. Walking Disaster: Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestselle

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

My first book for 2014! Yay! So, I finally got my hands on this precious thing. The story is all about Cath Avery, a Simon Snow fan. She writes fanfiction with her twin sister, Wren. Her sister has grown away from the Simon Snow fandom, which leaves Cath to fangirl all by herself. Now they are off to college, Wren doesn’t want to be roommates with her sister, so she is basically on her own. She got a roommate with  always-around boyfriend, a handsome classmate, a fiction-writing professor who thinks writing a fanfiction is stealing, and a lonesome father. My review for the book: Let’s start with the characters, so Cath, the protagonist in this story. She’s basically like one of us—a fangirl. She writes fanfiction, read fanfiction, obsess with the fandom etc. I was a bit irritated at her attitude at first, but as I lose myself in the story, I find her likeable. She is very close to her identical twin sister, until college were her sister decided to have a life

Book Blogging for 2014

So, I've decided to start my very own book blog. This is were I would post my thoughts, rants, ratings, and suggestions on the books that I have read. I would also post here my thoughts on books-to-movie adaptation. I really do hope that I would be able to maintain this blog, since my past blogs were totally forgotten. So, if anyone is interested to read my thoughts about the books that I have read, feel free to read my blog. :)
